Fall Festivals in Gwinnett

Once Labor Day ends, the mornings start to get cooler and it starts to feel a bit like Fall.  For a lot of people, this is their favorite time of the year (mine included!).  Here’s some fun festivals & activities going on this Fall in Gwinnett listed by calendar date.  If there is something I missed, comment below and I will add it to the list!

 

Buford Corn Maze – 4470 Bennett Road, Buford

  • Fridays and Weekends through Nov. 11th
  • Corn Maze, jumping pillow, combine slide, corn box, hay ride, pony rides, animal viewing, haunted forest (opens Sept. 21st), pumpkin patch (opens Sept. 28th).

 

Stone Mountain Pumpkin Festival – Play by Day, Glow by Night

  • September 22nd – October 28th (10:30 am – 9 pm)
  • Take in all of the splendor that autumn provides while you enjoy park attractions, fun-filled games, live shows, and more! New for 2018, a family-friendly nighttime fall event with thousands of carved jack-o-lanterns lighting up each night!
  • Save up to $10 on an All-Attractions Pass when you wear your costume!

 

Lilburn Daze Arts Festival – City Park

  • Saturday, October 13th at 9 am – 5 pm
  • Great shopping opportunities, rides, games, tons of food and entertainment, there is something to appeal to every member of the family.

 

Dacula Fall Festival – Lifeway Church

  • Saturday, October 13th at 11 am – 2 pm
  • Our Fall Festival will feature good old fashioned “festival” games for the entire family, bouncy houses, face-painting, cotton candy, a FUN and EXCITING obstacle kid-friendly course and so much more!

 

Movie Under the Stars – Braselton Town Green (9924 Davis Street)

  • Saturday, October 13th at 7 pm – 10 pm
  • Title: Jurassic World.  Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and join us for the year’s last Movie Under the Stars on the Green.
  • Concessions by Paw Paw’s Peanuts will be available. They serve a variety of tasty snacks including boiled peanuts, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, popcorn, nachos, pretzels and more!

 

Movie Under the Stars – Braselton Town Green (9924 Davis Street)

  • Friday, October 19th at 7 pm – 10 pm
  • Title: Sherlock Gnomes.  Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and join us for the year’s last Movie Under the Stars on the Green.
  • Concessions by Paw Paw’s Peanuts will be available. They serve a variety of tasty snacks including boiled peanuts, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, popcorn, nachos, pretzels and more!

 

Snellville Fall Festival  – Towne Green

  • Saturday, October 20th at 12 pm – 6 pm
  • Over 75 craft vendors, festival food, live entertainment, costume contests, and All Day Activity Band is only $10.00 and includes : Bungee Jump, Rock Wall, Inflatables, Trackless Train, Hay Rides and Mini Golf

 

Sugar Rush – Downtown Sugar Hill

  • Saturday, October 20th at 10 am – 5 pm
  • Art Show, rides, food trucks, live music, inflatables, arts & crafts, vendors and more!

 

AuburnFest – Whistlestop Park next to City Hall

  • Saturday, October 20th at 11 am – 6 pm
  • Auburn’s Hometown Festival.  Come out for a real hometown festival including pie baking contests, canning contests, quilting and knitting contests, a backyard BBQ competition and more!
  • Great activities for the kids including pony rides and inflatables.  The Auburn Public Library will have free crafts for the kids.  Craft vendors galore, live music and family fun.

 

Buford Music Festival – Buford Community Center

  • Saturday, October 20th at 6:00 pm
  • The City of Buford and Buford Community Center present the 7th annual Buford Music Festival on the Lawn featuring LOCASH and Michael Ray with The Cadillac Three and special guest The Daniel Lee Band.  Admission is Free!

 

Stone Mountain Highland Games – Stone Mountain Park

  • Saturday, October 20th through Sunday, 21st from 8 am – 5 pm
  • Come and enjoy the Highland Athletic events, Highland Dancing, Piping and Drumming, Scottish Harping. Participate in the Scottish Country Dancing demonstrations, Kirking of the Tartans, Clan Challenge Athletic events, and the Parade of Tartans. Tickets are on sale at www.smhg.org

 

Halloween Spooktacular – Jug Tavern Park Downtown Winder

  • Friday, October 26th at 6 pm
  • The Spooktacular is a family-friendly event that provides a safe environment for children to enjoy trick-or-treating and other fun games. Trick-or-treat booths will be provided by the Winder PD, the Winder FD, local businesses, faith-based organizations and more. Admission is FREE and includes inflatables, photo booths, games, trick-or-treating and more. Food and craft vendors available at cost.

 

Howl on the Green – Duluth Town Green

  • Friday, October 26th at 6 pm
  • Howl on the Green features food trucks, trick-or-treating, costume contests, crafts, live entertainment and music, oh my!  Kids events are from 6 pm -9 pm. The night turns to fright with spooky entertainment beginning at 9 pm with fire dancers, aerialist and more! This is a FREE event!

 

Trick or Treat at Buford Village

  • Saturday, October 27th at 11 am – 1 pm
  • Join us for another fun-filled family event at Buford Village!  Dress in costume and Trick or Treat with our Buford Village merchants.  First 50 kids to arrive receive a FREE full-sized candy bar!  RSVP on their facebook event page!

 

The Ultimate Family Tailgate – Buford Mall of GA

  • Saturday, October 27th at 1 pm at the Village Amphitheatre
  • Enjoy live entertainment by Hamrick & Haynes, Georgia vs. Florida football streamed live on an LED screen, halftime Halloween costume contest, local vendors, children’s activities, and more.
  • Schedule of events:  Live entertainment by Hamrick & Haynes from 1-3PM.  Pregame show streamed at 3PM.  Football game begins at 3:30PM
  • Children 12 and under in costume can trick-or-treat at the Village restaurants from 3-5PM.  Halloween costume contest at halftime (approx 5:30PM) Children 12 and under are encouraged to dress up and participate in a spook-tastic costume contest. Age groups for the competition are 4 and under, 5-8, and 9-12.

Gwinnett County Fair – Lawrenceville

  • Thursday, September 13th through Sunday, September 23rd
  • Carnival rides, food, and lots of fun stuff to enjoy!

 

Rockin Ribville – Lawrenceville

  • Saturday, September 22nd at 12 pm – 8 pm
  • Enjoy some of the best BBQ in the south, live music, Kids Riblet Zone, arts & crafts and so much more!

 

Braselton West Fest – Start at Braselton Tent near 7375 Spout Springs Rd.

  • Saturday, September 22nd at 11 am – 4 pm
  • The Town of Braselton and businesses on the west side of town are hosting this super-fun day of festivities which will extend across all 5 commercial areas in Braselton West – so there will be plenty to see and do and deals to had!

 

Duluth Fall Festival – Downtown

  • Saturday, September 29th – Sunday, 30th
  • The 36th Annual Duluth Fall Festival has carnival rides, over 250 arts & crafts booths, over 50 food vendors, entertainment on three stages and so much more!

 

Fall Farm Adventure Day – Alegre Farm, Dacula

  • Friday, October 5th at 10 am – 12 pm
  • Tickets can be purchased through their website.
  • Join us at the farm and have a fun, hands-on, interactive tour at our educational stations. Feed the animals in our petting zoo. Milk a goat! Dig in our worm bins and learn about composting. Smell our chocolate mint plant in our summer garden. Meet our honey bees! Groom our pony! Take a hayride around our 15-acre farm.
